OVERALL PURPOSE

Lulalend is a start-up company focused on transforming small business lending through technology, data and design. Small business owners are the foundation for growth in our economy, and they deserve an easy and inspiring lending process.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that will work closely with our Credit and Sales functions to develop a comprehensive approach to acquiring customers. Your work will not only encourage small business owners to apply for funding but ensure we attract strong applications to ensure a high conversion to approvals. You will be a driving force in helping Lulalend quickly scale.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting clients to gather all the necessary information/documentation for the application to proceed to the next phase of the assessment, using outbound calls, Whatsapp and Fresh desk channels
  • Effectively managing the Whatsapp and Freshdesk channels to timeously communicate with clients and attend to all client expectations
  • Analysing applications in the first phase of the assessment and providing recommendations once outstanding documentation has been successfully loaded onto the platform
  • Contribute to the achievement of targets for the business and meeting own individual monthly targets and KPI’s
  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations through a proactive and innovative manner
  • Timeously answering incoming calls with a high standard of professionalism ensuring all calls are handled in a friendly, responsive and efficient manner
  • Providing first line customer support with expert knowledge on product information
  • Timeously following up on client callback requests and escalating customer queries to the relevant departments

    THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    • Matric with maths
    • Diploma or certificate in finance (desirable)
    • Computer literate
    • 1-2 years’ experience within a sales environment, ideally within financial services
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent financial, administrative and sales skills
    • Target driven with excellent negotiation skills
